Lives transformed
by Jesus
An open, warm and committed community to the Gospel in the heart of Manlleu.
Evangelical Baptist
Church of Manlleu
We are a community of believers who have found in Jesus Christ the source of life, forgiveness and hope. We gather to worship, grow and serve together.
The Evangelical Baptist Church of Manlleu was born over 38 years ago with the desire to share the liberating message of the Gospel in our city. We come from the Protestant Reformed tradition of the 16th century and live Christianity from a personal and sincere relationship with Jesus, guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. We are a church open to all people and communities in Manlleu and the Osona region.
Our Vision
To be a community of disciples of Jesus at the service of all people in Manlleu and Osona, revealing God and his Kingdom in this world.
Our Mission
To extend the Kingdom of God by bringing people to Jesus, helping them grow spiritually and integrating them into God's family so they can serve and glorify his name.
Worship
Worshiping God is our reason for being. In every service we exalt his name with prayer, song and the proclamation of his Word.
Evangelism
We joyfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ, trusting that his message transforms lives.
Fellowship
We are a spiritual family. We accompany, support and love one another.
Discipleship
We believe in continuous spiritual growth. We study the Bible and help each other become more like Christ.
Ministry
We serve people in their spiritual, emotional and practical needs, in the name of Jesus.

Evangelical Baptist Church of Manlleu
A church with
its own identity
As an evangelical baptist church, we live Christianity from certain convictions that characterize us. We present them to you with respect and transparency.
The Bible as authority
The Bible is our supreme standard of faith and conduct. We study it, preach it and apply it to daily life.
Personal faith in Christ
We believe in a direct, personal and living relationship with Jesus Christ, not mediated by human traditions.
Participatory community
Every member matters. The church is not led by one person — we are all an active part of the body of Christ.
Simple, living worship
Our services are dynamic, centered on prayer, praise and the preaching of the Word of God.
Grace, not works
Salvation is a free gift from God through faith in Christ, not something earned by works or rituals.
Social commitment
We actively serve our community, collaborating with Social Services and responding to the needs of people.
Our confession
of faith
Our faith is based on the Bible and expressed in the following fundamental convictions.
The Bible was written by divine inspiration and is the supreme standard for our faith, conduct and life.
There is one living and true God: eternal, omnipotent, just and loving, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, risen on the third day and exalted at the right hand of the Father.
The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, gives spiritual gifts and guides toward maturity in Christ.
Salvation is by grace through genuine faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but received through repentance and trust in Christ.
The church is the community of those who have confessed Christ, baptized and committed to growing together and serving the world.
Baptism by immersion is the public testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ. It does not confer salvation, but proclaims it.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic memorial of the death and resurrection of Christ, celebrated with gratitude and reflection.
We believe in the personal and visible return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead and eternal life for the redeemed.
